Assistant Manager

Keenan Recruitment is excited to announce our search for Deputy Store Managers across various locations on behalf of a well-known footwear brand. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated, and highly motivated to deliver exceptional customer service and efficiently manage a successful store.

Our Deputy Store Manager works alongside the Store Manager to drive day-to-day operations to achieve optimum revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Our Deputy Store Manager collaborates with the Store Manager to enhance daily operations to achieve maximum revenue growth.
  • You will also have the duty of upholding Health and Safety standards and will take on the role of the key holder, ensuring smooth running for the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, which includes in store housekeeping, people management, merchandising, stock, administrative duties, security and banking.
  • Promoting and selling our products, whilst delivering excellent customer service, and boosting sales and KPI performance across the team to meet or exceed store performance goals.
  • Supporting the Store Manager in upholding and enhancing high levels of customer service within the store.
  • Training, nurturing, and guiding the Store Team to ensure they are responsible for achieving performance targets such as sales and KPI’s, while also streamlining operations and improving the customer experience.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to health and safety procedures, security protocols and procedures.
  • Taking full responsibility in the absence of Store Manager.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or Supervisor role.
  • Experience in training and developing the Store Team, including addressing individual performance concerns.
  • Capability to motivate others to meet personal and store-related goals.
  • A commitment to fostering accountability and delivering outstanding customer service within the store team to help achieve store performance targets.
  • Show resilience and the ability to think swiftly and effectively in addressing unexpected situations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office administration tasks, including banking and managing work schedules.
